The London Pre-hospital Care Conference is again delivered in partnership with The Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation.
The conference will deliver topical presentations from UK based speakers as well as from five other countries. Core and hot topics covered include pre-hospital blood, whether pre-hospital ECMO is really useful, has interosseus access really delivered?, pre-hospital obstetrics and making pre-hospital end of life decisions. We are delighted to have speakers coving a fascinating range of major incidents including Sir Jeremy Farrar on pandemic flu, the Salisbury Novichok incident and Asst Commissioner Graham Ellis talking about the tragic Grenfell Fire as a keynote speaker. Much of the rest of the day will concentrate on improving care and pre-hospital systems. Topics include: Communication under pressure, whether the likelihood of getting CPR is a lottery and an experts thoughts on what the near future of pre-hospital critical care should look like. We will finish with a debate on who should deliver pre-hospital critical care.
The day will be of interest to a broad range of clinicians and practitionerswho know the basics but want highlevel knowledge and interaction with experts who are at the cutting edge of current practice and research.
