Dr Lesley Osborn

Dr. Osborn attended Clemson University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, graduating in 2013. Dr. Osborn chose to continue her career in Columbia, SC, and graduated in June 2016 from the Palmetto Health Emergency Medicine Residency Program. While in residency, Dr. Osborn served as an Assistant Medical Director for the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Tactical EMS Team. To better serve this program, she enrolled in the Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy Academy and was sworn in as a Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy in May of 2016. She served as an officer in South Carolina until 2019. Dr. Osborn relocated to Houston, TX, where she completed the EMS Fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in June of 2017. She now serves as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, McGovern Medical School. She is currently double board certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. Dr. Osborn furthered her commitment to prehospital medicine by being commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and South Carolina Air National Guard in March of 2018. She currently serves the 169th MDG at McEntire AFB. Her operational EMS experience after fellowship includes serving as the current Medical Director for Galena Park Fire Department and Village Fire Department, as well as the the Associate Medical Director for Harris County ESD 48 and Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department. Most recently, in July of 2019, she was appointed to the position of Medical Director of Memorial Hermann Life Flight.
