Dr Sarah Watts

DSTL, UK

I joined Dstl after completing my PhD in 2000 and have been jointly leading the Combat Casualty Care Research Programme since 2003. The main research effort has been on understanding the pathophysiology of military traumatic injury as well as the development and assessment of resuscitation strategies for the acute, pre-hospital, care. This requires models of relevant traumatic injury and I have a particularly interest in the development and validation of such models.
